2nd Year

In my second year of university, I explored the design of physical prototyping through material testing and a deep dive into the Arduino Uno software. Orthographic and CAD drawings were developed both physically and digitally, including the grey foam modelling of a toaster that was stripped apart. Creative technology modules helped us understand the coding and wiring aspects of the Arduino for the creation of the 'Forming Sounds' speaker. A series of accompanying desk products were designed using the laser cutters and 3D prints for a ZEN inspired arrangement by blending art forms.
